Professor Paul Pancella is a member of the national Electric Vehicle Association and helped found the Kalamazoo.
Electric Vehicle Association (KEVA) in 2015, a local group of EV enthusiasts. With increased interest in electric
vehicles, KEVA recently became an official chapter of the EVA, and Pancella currently serves as the chapter president.

Dr. Pancella has given a number of presentations on practical aspects of owning and operating modern electric vehicles, the science behind them, and their impact on theenvironment to a wide variety ofaudiences, mostly non-specialists.

In October of 2022, he was given one of two “City Captain” awards by Plug In America, in recognition of the many successful EV shows organized by KEVA over the last several years. He and his wife live in Kalamazoo and now share a Chevy Bolt EV and a Volt plug-in hybrid.

Dr. Pancella will speak, and take questions, on Sunday Nov. 13th, from noon until
