To enhance our email security and protect everyone from unauthorized messages,
we are introducing a new “Seal of Authenticity” for all official communications from our church.
This is common practice in the industry and helps raise awareness of
emails that have been “spoofed.” For example, if you receive an email
from chrissyw@fpckzoo.org and do not see the new “Seal of Authenticity,”
it is fake. Don’t click on any attachments or links; delete them.
However, if Chrissy sends an email from her personal Gmail account,
you will not see the seal but can proceed as usual if you recognize that
Chrissy uses that account at times. Starting immediately,
you will see this special seal on emails from us, indicating they are genuine and safe to open.
This measure aims to prevent potential SPAM and phishing attempts, ensuring your email
interactions with the church remain secure. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
