On Thursday afternoon, Autumn and Michael hosted fifteen students from the Kalamazoo Area Mathematics
and Science Center for a pipe organ demonstration.
The KAMSC summer music courses teach the physics of sound and construction of specific musical instruments.

The afternoon included fun facts about the instrument (like its 3,394 pipes!), demonstrations of
the various colors and stops, and a trip inside the organ chambers. It was a joy for our music
staff to share their love of the instrument with an even younger generation of musicians.
