We are in need of individuals/groups/committees to make meals for the Wednesday night
dinner for our neighbors. If you haven’t experienced this extraordinary ministry of our church,
it is a labor of love that feeds not just the stomachs, but the hearts of those we feed each week.
Due to Health Department regulations, we are required to have all meals made in the church
commercial kitchen. We know this is a deterrent for some of you, but please know that the
kitchen is large and designed to make cooking for the masses more manageable.
We have recipes you can choose from, will help revise ingredient quantities, can give you
a kitchen tutorial, and will assist with all that you need to feel comfortable in the kitchen.
We also provide reimbursement for all meal expenses. Meals can be as simple as spaghetti
or a casserole, and you are even welcome to purchase frozen dinners from Gordon Foods
and heat them up. The simple truth is that we cannot run the Wednesday night Red Door
Dinner without your help. We don’t have anyone signed up to cook for the remainder of the summer
and this limits our ability to serve the downtown community that we love so deeply.
Please consider being a part of this important ministry.
