Spring Tornadoes
Spring 2025 has seen many damaging and deadly tornadoes
in several states. PDA has disbursed emergency grants
to Giddings-Lovejoy Presbytery, Transylvania Presbytery and the
Presbytery of Middle Tennessee. Emergency grants allow for
flexibility to meet the immediate unmet needs in the community.
This can include, but is not limited to potable water, shelter,
food, tools, medical care, etc. PDA National Response Team
members have been deployed to assist presbytery leadership with
coordinating the local response.

The PDA has had active disaster response and volunteer teams
following Hurricane Beryl, Hurricane Debby, Hurricane Helene,
Hurricane Milton, Texas Panhandle Fires, Tropical Storm Ernesto,
Hawai’i Wildfires, Puerto Rico and Southern California Wildfires.
